3rd Year Casa Program
Age 5+
AM Session 8:30am - 3:45pm
Overview
Our 3rd Year Casa Program, allows children to bloom in the culmination of a three-year developmental stage that Maria Montessori observed as a part of natural development. Our 3rd Year Montessori students graduate prepared for elementary school and a successful transition to grade 1.
During this third year, children consolidate their knowledge and provides an opportunity for them to bring their educational, social and mentoring skills to fruition. The mixed-age grouping in the classroom allows our children to practice responsibility, to be leaders and to offer support to other. This program provides our students with a solid foundation that remains with the child for life.

Developmental Outcomes
The third year Montessori child takes on great responsibilities within the classroom, among his or her peers and for his or her own learning. The guides continue to support the children to reach their full academic and social potential in this capstone year of the Three Year Cycle.
The Montessori Method
The main premises of our programs are shown below
01.
Children are to be respected as different from adults and as individuals who differ from each other.
02.
The child possesses an unusual sensitivity and intellectual ability to absorb and learn from his environment that are unlike those of the adults both in quality and capacity.
03.
The most important years of a child’s growth are the first six years of life when unconscious learning is gradually brought to the conscious level.
