Our Hours
Our schools offer both morning and afternoon classes and run five (5) days a week.
Our FULL-DAY class is ONLY for Kindergarten children who have turned 5 by December 31st in the year of enrolment AND have had previous Montessori experience.
We follow the school calendar as set out by the Ministry of Education observing the usual school holidays such as Christmas and Spring Break. We have five professional days per school year.
CURRENT HOURS (Fall 2009 -Spring 2010)
• Morning Preschool class: 9:00 a.m–11:30 a.m.
• Afternoon Preschool class: 1:00 p.m–3:30 p.m.
• Kindergarten: 9 a.m–3:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: CHANGE IN HOURS EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 2010
In September 2010, both Family Montessori Schools will be switching to a 3-hour work-cycle for the preschoolers. This will also affect kindergarden hours. The new hours will be as follows:
FUTURE HOURS (Fall 2010-Spring 2011)
• Morning Preschool class: 8:30 a.m–11:30 a.m.
• Afternoon Preschool class: 12:45 p.m–3:45 p.m.
• Kindergarten: 8:30 a.m–3:15 p.m.
