Family Montessori School Society is a non-profit Montessori preschool society which has been providing quality Montessori education to Vancouver families since 1980. Our society has two school locations, Jericho Hill and Sitka Square.

Both schools offer an integrated three-year preschool and Kindergarten program for children between the ages of 2 years 8 months to 6 years old. A community-minded, parent-participation school society, we are licensed by the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, registered as an Independent School with the BC Ministry of Education, and closely adhere to the standards of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). Our faculty is AMI-trained and Early Childhood Educator-licensed. Our aim of “education for life” strives to perpetuate the work that Dr. Montessori began in the first Casa dei Bambini (Children’s House) in 1907.
